For the past 20 years, living by the sea has profoundly influenced my art, inspiring me to explore various forms of water and our deep connection to it. My work often bridges dreams and reality, delving into the intricate relationship between humans and nature. This journey is reflected in my diverse style, which blends realism and abstraction.

Drawing inspiration from the Polish landscapes of my heritage and the vibrant scenery of East Sussex, I work on multiple paintings simultaneously. This method allows me to develop concepts across different surfaces, capturing the energy and essence of my subjects, much like following the atmosphere and characters of a film.

I use a variety of mediums, including acrylics, oils, watercolours, chalk, charcoal, and gouache. Drawing is integral to my process, intertwined with painting. I start with water spray and large brush strokes, letting the paint drip and shape the composition. Sometimes, I leave a piece for months or years before revisiting it, discovering new aspects and directions.

My aim is to create intrigue and tell a story, taking my audience on an enchanting journey through dreamy landscapes filled with colour and movement.
